Personal Information Request Definition:

A personal information request applies to pardoned files.  Your pardon is opened up for "requested" purpose only, the information is printed and than the pardon is sealed again.  This is required for U.S. Waiver, Vulnerable Sector Search (known as VS or VS Hits)(for individuals who will be involved with a person(s) or organization(s) responsible for the well-being of the vulnerable population as defined by the Criminal Records Act (CRA).)  A set of fingerprints is requried for this service and is included in FPS service package.


Applying for a Personal Information Request:

1.  Hire FPS to handle all documents, provide on-site fingerprint service, and to ensure that your application is done correct.  We keep the process of a personal information request simple, fast and convenient for you.  We provide a complete service package and usually with 4 months* you will receive your personal information request results.


Completion Time:

1.  Usually with 4 months, however, *time lines are dependant on the RCMP.  Currently, there is a backlog with the RCMP.
